  • The Blackstone Group – advised on over $10billion of debt facilities to the Blackstone Group, including:
    • Project Silverback – advised the mandated lead arrangers on the $1.8billion refinance of four separate logistics portfolios managed by the Blackstone Group
    • Project Windsor – advised the syndicate of senior lenders on the $1.52billion acquisition by certain funds managed by the Blackstone Group of Sydney CBD officers towers from Scentre Group
    • Project Quartz - advised the mandated lead arrangers on $3.1billion on term and working capital facilities to the Blackstone Group for the proposed take-private of the Investa Office Fund
    • Qualitas BTR Fund - advised Qualitas on the establishment of its Build-to-Rent Impact Fund (Australia's first dedicated BTR debt platform), including the cornerstone commitment from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation
    • Zenith Towers – advised a joint venture between Starwood Capital and Arrow Property Investments on $350million senior syndicated facilities and mezzanine facilities for the acquisition of the Zenith Centre, Chatswood

    • Propertylink - advised the syndicate of senior lenders on the $1.187billion takeover and take private of the Propertylink Group by ESR Real Estate (Australia) Pty Ltd
    • Charter Hall Office REIT – advised the lending consortium on $1billion in syndicated facilities
    • ING Industrial Fund – advised the lending consortium on $1.1billion syndicated facilities for the $2.5 billion takeover of the ING Industrial Fund
  • Cliffbrook Capital – advised on all aspects of Cliffbrook Capital's innovative A/B loan structure, including:
    • $255million facilities to LaSalle Asia Fund for the acquisition of 323 Castlereagh Street, Sydney
    • $336million facilities to the Blackstone Group for its acquisition of a 50% interest in 60 Margaret Street, Sydney
  • Alternative capital providers – I regularly advise Qualitas; Gresham; Blackstone, Cliffbrook Capital, Phoenix Property Investors, BlackRock, Arrow Property Investments, MaxCap; Fortress and others on alternative capital loans, equity joint ventures, capital raisings, loan-on-loan structures and repos
  • GIC Real Estate – helped establish over $2billion of real estate funds
  • Rothesay Life – worked on the $192million monetisation of the NSW Government ground lease for the Darling Quarter precinct
  • Circular Quay Tower – guided Ping An Real Estate, in its acquisition of a 50% interest in a joint venture with Mitsubishi and Lendlease, to develop a landmark tower at Circular Quay
  • Developers – I regularly advise Sekisui House, PAYCE, Crown Group, Qualitas; Thirdi Group, Milligan Group; Toga, Resimax Group and others on construction financings, development joint ventures and structuring
  • City Square Tower – advised on $550million syndicated construction and term facilities to Brookfield (Multiplex Group) for construction of the City Square Tower in Perth
  • GVK Power & Infrastructure – worked on a US$1.25billion facility for the acquisition of interests in the Kevin’s Corner and Alpha Coal projects
  • Export Development Canada – advised in relation to export credit it provided (via reinsurance arrangements) in connection with Brookfield Rail’s $US882million combined project and corporate financing, to fund the expansion program for its track infrastructure in midwest Western Australia
