Greg is divisional head of the Adelaide Corporate team and General Counsel for Minter Ellison's Adelaide and Darwin offices. He has been the Chief Operating Partner of those offices for the last 4 years, and before that was their Chairman.
A very experienced corporate lawyer, Greg advises on a wide range of commercial matters including company and business sales and acquisitions and appropriate business structures. He also specialises in the areas of superannuation, trusts, company law and complex estate planning.
Greg has advised many employers and trustees on matters such as SIS compliance, tax issues, PDSs and trust deed issues, as they relate to both self managed and non-self managed superannuation funds. Greg also has particular expertise at dealing with the taxation and stamp duty issues associated with any commercial transaction.
Greg has been a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia (and is a former State Chairman of the SA Division of the TIA) and the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia. He has presented many papers to the TIA, the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants on topics related to tax, capital gains tax, trusts and superannuation.
