Minter Ellison has today launched the latest edition of its flagship Infrastructure magazine: Infrastructure 2012: Getting the Work Done. The publication is edited by Mark Birrell, Leader of the Minter Ellison Infrastructure Group. Mark is also the Chairman of Infrastructure Partnerships Australia. This year's edition tackles the pressing issues involved in the planning, funding and delivery of major infrastructure projects in Australia. The title theme – getting the work done – reflects the practical goal that unites all people involved in project procurement, from architects and planners through to constructors and operators. In response to challenging economic times, this year's edition specifically focuses on the key issues that companies, investors and governments will face when planning, financing and delivering infrastructure projects throughout 2012. It also presents a series of pragmatic approaches to the challenges of successful project delivery across a range of sectors. According to Mr Birrell, "Australia's need for an efficient approval and delivery environment is more important than ever."
