My practice is driven by my passion for the problem-solving nature of insurance litigation. I have acted in a broad range of matters, and am an expert in resolving professional indemnity claims against accountants, lawyers, financial planners, engineers, building surveyors, insurance brokers and other professionals.

I also advise on construction insurance disputes and insurance arrangements, focusing on the functions and limitations of insurance as a means of managing risk.

  • Acting for a number of financial services institutions in the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry 
  • Miller & Associates Insurance Broking – represented the broker in a misleading and deceptive conduct claim that was determined in the client’s favour by the High Court of Australia
  • Blake Dawson (now Ashurst) – acted for the law firm in Supreme Court proceedings concerning project-specific professional indemnity insurance arrangements for the Beaconsfield Gold Mine project
  • Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee – advised on a range of professional indemnity claims against solicitors
  • Assisted a variety of clients in large construction and engineering litigation
  • Worked with public and private sector clients on insurance arrangements for numerous large infrastructure projects
