Kent Grey

Kent is an experienced corporate lawyer who specialises in energy and resources. He also advises on commercial law, corporate governance, and privacy law.

Recognised as a leading advisor to the Australian mining, oil, gas and petroleum industries, Kent advises local and international businesses on all aspects of the Mining Act 1971 (SA) and Petroleum Act 2000 (SA), as well as joint venture arrangements, native title and Aboriginal heritage issues. He has particular expertise in the Australian uranium industry and heads MinterEllison's specialised Uranium Industry Focus Group.

In his corporate and commercial practice, Kent advises on capital raisings, stock exchange compliance, due diligence, commercial and business transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate re-structures. He is particularly expert in corporate governance and advises in relation to directors' duties, the Corporations Act, board and shareholder meeting procedures and compliance with industry-based governance codes of conduct.

Kent is the head of MinterEllison's privacy law practice area in SA and NT and provides advice on privacy issues to a range of commercial clients across a number of industry sectors.
