Some of our flagship deals include:
- advising Winnington Capital Limited (the fund manager for Trophy Property Fund), on its acquisition of 49% of Foresight Profits Limited and a 50% stake in Rightchina Limited
- appointed to advise the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority on a new large scale integrated arts and cultural district including performance venues, museum, exhibition centre, retail, dining and entertainment facilities as well as commercial and transport facilities
- successfully representing the Hong Kong Government in a major High Court action against the Hong Kong and Yaumati Ferry Co Ltd, which resulted in a substantial payment in favour of the Government
- advising Venetian Macau Limited on Las Vegas Sands Inc's development of the Cotai Strip in Macau, including construction of the Venetian Macau Resort, renovation and new work to the Sands Casino Macau, construction of the Four Seasons Hotel, casino and residential complex, and construction of the Parcel 5 and 6 casino resort and hotel complex
- negotiating the documentation for Morgan Stanley's 500,000 square foot regional headquarters in Hong Kong
- advising on a claim for damages against our client's former employees and a competitor for leading a mass defection of staff to set up a competing business in Hong Kong and Singapore
- advising a leading communications services provider on its restructuring and redundancy programme which operated across six Asia Pacific jurisdictions
