Each of our offices has developed partnerships with community organisations to address local need and the overall themes of our Community Investment Program. For example, our focus on disadvantaged youth in Australia has led to partnerships with public high schools in:
- Brisbane
- Glenala State High School in Inala
- Canberra - Lyneham Primary School
- Melbourne
- Fawkner Secondary College
- Perth - Warnbro Community High School
- Sydney
- James Meehan High in Macquarie Fields.
Our commitment has included:
- hosting student visits to our Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney offices
- providing work experience and career advice
- active membership of the Australian Business and Community Network in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane
- taking part in the Principal for a Day Program in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney
- creating networks between our partner schools for the benefit of students and staff
- developing mentoring projects for our staff to provide pratical assistance to students.
The benefits of these partnerships extend both ways. Students are exposed to the world of professional life. Equally, our staff derive enormous satisfaction from creating opportunities for students to reach their full potential.
We support other community organisations by:
- working bees to improve the facilities of our community partners
- community board service
- a variety of in-kind support
- participation in fundraising challenges
- team-based volunteer projects
- charitable giving.
