Biography
Simon is Group Head of Minter Ellison's Insurance and Corporate Risk Group in Brisbane. He has more than 16 years' experience in the insurance and health industries including five years working in the London insurance market. He has extensive experience in the management of professional negligence, general insurance and medico-legal litigation.
He is the firm's national relationship partner for Promina and Ramsay Health care and relationship manager for Queensland Health (medical malpractice). He is also the supervising partner for the six Health Practitioner Registration Boards Minter Ellison acts for in Queensland. Simon is also a staff partner in the Brisbane office with particular responsibility for recruitment.
Simon is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association, Australian Professional Indemnity Group and Medico-Legal Society.
