Biography
Alan joined Minter Ellison in March 2002 and is a partner of the Minter Ellison Tax division. He is a Chartered Accountant and was previously a Principal with Ernst & Young and, prior to that, was manager of taxation with the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria. Alan has more than 12 years' experience consulting to and advising government entities and corporates on tax law. His key areas of expertise are tax and structuring advice in M&A transactions, due diligence reviews, and the specific tax issues affecting utilities.
Alan has been a key adviser to a number of industry bodies on tax reform measures that have broad application to their members, and has made successful submissions to the government in relation these.
