Biography
Wan Li is a partner and head of Minter Ellison’s Shanghai office. He is a highly regarded cross-border gas, oil and M&A specialist, with significant experience in China matters. Since 1988, he has worked in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Wan Li’s major practice areas include: infrastructure, gas and oil projects, private equity, corporate finance and M&A. He has extensive experience advising multinational companies on inbound investment, and major Chinese companies on their out-bound investments, particularly in the energy and resources sector.
He is admitted as an Attorney in the PRC, Barrister and Solicitor in Victoria, New South Wales, Australia, Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong, and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
Wan Li speaks English and Mandarin.
