Biography
Kate is a Special Counsel in the firm's Competition and Regulatory group, having previously been a partner at another firm. Kate specialises in competition and regulatory matters.
Kate has advised and acted in a number of large commercial, competition and regulatory investigations and disputes in several jurisdictions, including the Australian Competition Tribunal. Her practice also involves advising and acting on the restrictive trade practices provisions of the Trade Practices Act, including price fixing and unconscionable conduct, on franchising matters including advising on Code Compliance.
Kate has acted for clients including SingTel Optus, Jetset Travelworld and Singapore Airlines. She has extensive experience in making submissions to and liaising with regulators on competition and regulatory issues.
