  • Long term advisor to Albemarle Corporation, including advising on its US$1.3bn acquisition of a 60% interest in the Wodgina lithium project and sale of a 40% interest in the US$480m sale of its interest in the Kemerton lithium facility. This was the 2020 Energy and Resources Deal of the Year, Australasian Law Awards.
  • Advisor to Anglo American on acquisitions, divestments and developments, including on the AU$2.37 billion ownership equalisation of the Moranbah North-Grosvenor mines (the Infrastructure and Projects Deal of the Year 2021, Australasian Law Awards), the sale of its Australian Steelmaking Coal Business to Peabody for $US 3.78 billion and sale of its Jellinbah Group interest to Zashvin for US$1.1 billion.
