Andrew Shute
Senior Legal Consultant, Brisbane
I work with clients to identify and implement strategies aimed at achieving their objectives in corporate and commercial disputes. I bring more than 25 years' experience in acting in a broad range of complex disputes in State and Federal Courts, including contractual, shareholder and joint venture disputes, consumer and competition claims, and judicial review.

I have gained considerable expertise in the practical application of technology to assist with the efficient conduct of litigation, and have been actively involved in related reforms and education. Additionally, I am called upon to assist public and private sector clients in relation to privacy, freedom of information, information management and security issues, and cyber incidents.

My experience extends to providing assistance in commercial and pre-dispute contexts, including the interpretation of contractual and statutory provisions, strategies to maintain client legal privilege or confidentiality, and the provision of training in relation to incident response.

I have also regularly assisted resources industry clients in managing similar claims, along with landholder claims and mining objection hearings.
