I am a commercial litigation and dispute resolution specialist focused on significant, high-value and reputationally sensitive disputes. I advise government, energy and resources, infrastructure and education clients, bringing strategic direction and a solutions-focused approach.

I advise government and corporate clients across education, infrastructure, energy and resources, and financial services industries on their most significant disputes — those that carry substantial financial, operational and reputational consequences. I bring clarity to complex legal, commercial and regulatory issues, providing strategic direction through disputes with the potential to cause reputational damage or materially affect business operations. My experience encompasses matters that test regulatory boundaries and require considered stakeholder management.

I represent clients across all stages of complex litigation and in a full range of binding and non-binding dispute resolution processes including court proceedings, arbitration, adjudication, expert determination and bespoke contractual mechanisms. I also have experience acting for clients in contentious engagements with Commonwealth and State regulators.

My approach is collaborative and solutions-focused. I work closely with clients to identify the underlying commercial drivers of disputes and develop purposeful strategies for their resolution. I regularly assist clients in resolving disputes without proceeding to costly and reputationally damaging court proceedings — deploying pre-litigation strategy, ADR processes and negotiated settlements to achieve early resolution and commercially sound outcomes.

I previously served as the Associate to the Honourable Justice Margaret McMurdo AC, then President of the Queensland Court of Appeal.
