Anthony has international experience in IT related aspects of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and divestitures. He has particular expertise in the separation and integration of businesses with particular focus on IT and supply chain aspects and transitional services arrangements.

Anthony has been advising on cloud computing transactions for many years, including IAAS, PAAS and SAAS. He has advised on projects involving public and private clouds and has particular expertise in assisting clients to understand and successfully navigate cloud issues in complex and multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.

Anthony is often involved in assisting his clients to commercialise technology and has assisted many US based clients in expanding their businesses and commercialising their technology in many parts of Asia including China.

Anthony has played key roles on IT, procurement and commercial aspects of many of the firm's corporate transactions such as joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and divestitures. He also has significant commercial experience on a wide range of commercial contracts across a range of industries, particularly in financial services, aviation, energy and resources, and telecommunications.

Anthony has a particular expertise in putting in place global technology arrangements for international companies. He has structured new arrangements and restructured existing ones for clients headquartered in the US, UK, Europe and many parts of Asia. He has also advised clients on numerous cross-border transactions around Asia including a particular focus on Hong Kong and China.

Anthony advises on all aspects of internet and ecommerce related matters. His experience includes advising on the use of social networking by corporations (including Facebook, Twitter and Second Life), internet based auction businesses and online gaming.

He acts for international corporations primarily in the financial services, energy and resources, aviation and telecommunications sectors acquiring technology and telecommunications systems but also for technology and telecommunications companies, providing him with a strong understanding on the commercial drivers for both sides.

Anthony advises on commercial transactions, often with a technology or telecommunications focus. He specialises in outsourcing, strategic sourcing, and major technology, media and communications projects. He has an internationally recognised reputation, having been instructed to act on technology and outsourcing projects for clients in the US, UK, Europe and Asia, from an Australian base.

Anthony also has particular expertise in assisting US based technology companies expanding their businesses into Asia and on IT related aspects of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and divestitures.

Some long standing clients include SingTel Optus, Qantas, Westpac, Allianz, Aon, Fiserv, and Cathay Pacific.

Anthony has a strong IT background having formerly been a Senior Attorney with IBM Global Services, working for both IBM Australia and IBM GSA on major strategic outsourcing, systems integration, application development and e-business transactions.

Anthony has been a key adviser on pay TV transactions including negotiating content and broadcasting services agreements and has advised on strategic alliances in the media sector.

Anthony is recognised as one of Australia's leading outsourcing lawyers. He has advised on a wide range of outsourcing projects across a number of industries. He has led teams advising on multinational outsourcing projects across Asia and globally. He has particular expertise in restructuring and transforming existing long-term arrangements.
