We regularly support clients in negotiating hotel management agreements, leases, franchise agreements, technical services agreements and non-disturbance agreements with international and Australian hotel operating and franchise companies. We also have specialised employment, liquor licensing, IP, insurance and dispute teams who regularly advise on issues which arise in hotel businesses.

Develop

Our experience also extends to development of new build and refurbishment of hotels, resorts and tourism assets including fund through arrangements. These development and refurbishment arrangements often require complex negotiations of construction documents and negotiation of provisions regarding brand standards, FF&E procurement, early access, liquor licence and if the hotel forms part of a broader mixed use development, access and services to and from other parts of the development.
