MinterEllison, Australia’s leading independent law firm, is strengthening its commitment to providing clients with a complimentary legal and consulting practice by welcoming a team of seven industry leading consulting specialists to the partnership.
Bringing over 13 decades of experience, the seven new partners have specific consulting expertise in governance, risk and compliance advisory, anti-money laundering (AML), fraud and forensics, systems, data and analytics.
The team will grow the consulting Partnership to 18 leading practitioners working alongside MinterEllison’s exceptional legal capabilities to provide clients with end-to-end support from the very best in the field.
“We are thrilled to welcome these new partners to the Firm, each at the top of their game in these critical sectors. Their unparalleled expertise and insight will undoubtedly enhance our ability to not only meet the current demands of clients but also to help them thrive in their increasingly dynamic and complex operating environments," said MinterEllison Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner, Virginia Briggs.
“This strategic growth substantially bolsters the firm's consulting and advisory capabilities and further strengthens our integrated offering, ensuring that we are able to provide our clients with market-leading advice and insights from some of Australia’s most well-respected practitioners.”
MinterEllison has been at the forefront of providing clients with complimentary legal and consulting expertise, challenging the traditional Australian legal landscape, since the technology consulting practice launched 2017.
“While MinterEllison will always fundamentally be a law firm, we will continue to redefine the boundaries of what it means to be a contemporary law firm. We are always looking at ways to best respond to our clients’ changing demands, whether it be through targeted investment in highly complementary advisory services or our leading-edge technology position such as AI,” said MinterEllison Managing Partner of Consulting Solutions, Victoria Hepburn.
“Ensuring that our clients benefit from an integrated offering has long been a core part of our growth strategy. We are thrilled that these partners have recognised our commitment to a truly strategic and integrated offering.“ said Ms Hepburn.
Since the establishment of MinterEllison Technology Consulting Practice in 2017, the firm has expanded its service offerings to cover a broad spectrum of business challenges including risk and regulatory compliance, cyber security, ESG and the recent integration of specialist Education Advisory Firm Wells Advisory in 2023.
