MinterEllison was proud to mark the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras this year through a new community partnership with PFLAG Sydney, building on the firm’s longstanding commitment to inclusion, care and safety for LGBTQ+ people, their families and those who support them.

Minter Ellison has proudly served as the pro bono legal adviser for Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras for more than 25 years, supporting the event and its mission to promote visibility, equality and belonging.

PFLAG Sydney is a volunteer-led organisation that supports parents, families and friends of LGBTQ+ people, helping to build understanding, connection and belonging across generations and communities. The new relationship reflects a shared belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and supported to live openly and fully, at work and in everyday life.

This spirit of community, courage, and kindness closely aligns with our values.
