The annual Attorney General’s Community Service Law Awards recognise the work of those who have made a pro bono contribution to benefit the Western Australian community and demonstrated a long-standing commitment to using their legal skills to serve others in the community. The Legal Firm Award highlights the pro bono work being done in the community by commercial law firms.

In congratulating the firm for winning this prestigious award, Attorney General John Quigley stated:

"MinterEllison sets an excellent example by seconding lawyers to community legal centres and ensuring junior lawyers spend one day a week for six months doing pro bono work."
