MinterEllison has won a place on the distinguished 2017 Legal Innovation Index announced by LexisNexis® and Janders Dean. The announcement was made last night at a ceremony in Sydney.
The Legal Innovation Index is now its 5th successful year of recognising organisations and individuals that are pushing the legal sector forward.
"This year’s entries have shown that companies are becoming more aware of the importance of understanding the client experience as a differentiator. We are also seeing that innovation has become more embedded within organisations’ cultural blueprint,” said Justin North, Director of Janders Dean.
MinterEllison was recognised for its sector-transforming acquisition of technology consulting firm ITNewcom, and the continued growth of the firms' Client Data Management Solution.
MinterEllison acquired ITNewcom in July, recognising that its complementary consulting expertise would combine with the firms' existing market leading technology practice to deliver seamless integrated consulting and legal solutions.
The firms' clients now benefit from a single team of consultants and lawyers supporting them to achieve successful technology programs.
The Index sets a benchmark that distinguishes true innovators from the crowd, recognising those who continue to embrace change in order to shape the future of the legal sector. In line with this thinking, MinterEllison's Client Data Management Solution was also recognised.
The solution tackles a legal service delivery challenge in which continued growth of client data in the dispute resolution area had placed increasing pressure on the ability to service client-critical e-discovery needs.
MinterEllison's solution re-engineers the legal service delivery workflow surrounding the firm's e-discovery function, focusing on improving process efficiency, cost reduction and superior client service.
Congratulations to the team at MinterEllison and ITNewcom.
