    MinterEllison's submission on Exposure Draft Bill to implement Quality of Advice Tranche 1 reforms

    MinterEllison made submissions to Treasury in relation to the Quality of Advice Review (QAR), in which we supported the key proposals of the QAR. While we welcomed the proposals, we argued for further reforms to improve the legislative framework for financial advice.

    We now have draft legislation as part of tranche 1 of Delivering Better Financial Outcomes package, and once again, we believe that further measures are needed.
