Mining & metals

MinterEllison's mining and metals team offers a breadth of experience with domestic and international mining and resource explorers, developers, financiers, operators, and government.

With a very experienced team advising on projects and regulation across Australia and overseas, our team advises across a wide range of commodities, from coal, iron, lithium, copper, zinc, nickel, gold, silver, tin, uranium to molybdenum and rhenium. These projects include mine development, supporting clients with securing tenure and approvals, constructing the mine and supporting infrastructure, and establishing contractual arrangements to commence operations.

Industry associations and governments engage the team to advise on policy and regulation issues in the sector.
