My clients include major developers and landlords such as Lendlease, Dexus, Stockland, Woolworths, Brookfield, QIC, Charter Hall, AMPCI, Challenger, Stockland, Toga and Mirvac.
I advise group legal, asset managers and centre managers of major landlord clients on a daily basis in relation to a variety of lease disputes, such as, suits for specific performance, defending relief against forfeiture applications, misleading or deceptive conduct claims, lease termination issues, make good disputes, market rent review disputes, option disputes, advising in relation to major redevelopments (demolition and relocation), recovery of major debts, and the operation of the Retail Leases Act 1994 (NSW). I also advise in relation to tenants in administration, liquidation or receivership and dealing with abandoned property and equipment, both tenant and third party property (including PPSR).
I work to continually safeguard clients from litigious and reputational risks, and I am known for being both practical and commercial. I am experienced at providing timely, comprehensive and cost effective advice to resolve issues quickly on a commercial basis, wherever possible.

- Advising in relation to the implementation of and compliance with the National Cabinet Mandatory Code of Conduct – SME Commercial Leasing and the Retail and Other Commercial Leases (COVID-19) Regulations (NSW).
- Regularly advising landlords in relation to make good disputes, security claims, Tenant's property and third party ownership interests (including the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR)), breaches of lease and loss of bargain damages.
- Regularly advising landlords in relation to retail lease compliance and best practice, and management of reputational risk.
- Acting and advising a major retail landlord in proceedings in the Supreme Court of NSW, in respect of a claim for loss and damage alleged to have been suffered by the tenant by reason of alleged misleading and deceptive conduct and unconscionable conduct by the landlord, in respect of lease negotiations with four tenants in a shopping centre. The proceedings were successfully resolved and settled on behalf of the landlord, with minimal legal spend.
- Voyages Indigenous Tourism: Acting for Voyages Indigenous Tourism (Northern Territory) in Supreme Court Proceedings brought by a commercial tenant alleging wrongful termination of lease agreements by Voyages. The proceedings were successfully defended.
- Aqualand Pyrmont Development Pty Ltd: Acting for Aqualand Pyrmont Development Pty Ltd in Supreme Court Proceedings in relation to an off the plan contract dispute involving allegations of misleading and deceptive conduct and a claim for the return of the deposits paid under the contract.
