Mark Carkeet
Legal Consultant, Brisbane
I have advised almost exclusively on matters involving utilities since 1992, working on projects in each state and territory of Australia, as well as across the Asia Pacific region.

I have advised leading public and private sector clients – including Rio Tinto, Energy Queensland, the Queensland Government and Stanwell Corporation – on significant and transformational projects and corporate matters. In recent years I have focussed on regulatory and commercial aspects of the energy transition working exclusively with Government and Government Owned Corporations. According to Chambers Global I enjoy ‘a strong reputation for a wealth of regulatory experience’.

I take pride in providing my clients with astute, pragmatic and strategic advice, drawing on my deep understanding of the rules, regulations and realities that govern their sector.
