I provide detailed forensic advice to ReturnToWorkSA and its managing agents (Employers Mutual Limited and Gallagher Bassett Services Pty Ltd), as well as various self-insured employers in South Australia.

Through this work, I participate in dispute proceedings from conciliation through to judicial determination at the South Australian Employment Tribunal (SAET).

Before joining MinterEllison, I practised as an audiologist. This complements my legal work, giving me particular expertise in noise-induced hearing loss claims.

In addition to legal representation, I train ReturnToWorkSA and its agents on topics relating to the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA). 

Career highlights

• Worked as the instructing solicitor on numerous successful strategic litigation matters that proceeded to hearing and decision at the SAET, including: Kviesitis (2015), Crompton (2016), Moretta (2016) and Smart (2017) 

• Acted as junior counsel in relation to scheme-critical litigation
• Presented at the 2015 Both Sides of the Fence conference on the topic of noise-induced hearing loss
• Am a member of the Law Society of South Australia’s Accident Compensation and Advocacy committees
