  • Mayne Pharma Group Limited – acted on acquisitions, capital raisings and related matters, helping the company’s market capitalisation grow from $50 million to a peak of $3 billion
  • Vision Systems Limited – advised on acquisitions and capital raisings over a number of years before its eventual takeover in one of Australia’s most contested auction processes, involving three public bidders
  • BWX Limited – counselled the company on its aggregation of various body care businesses and brands, and its highly successful listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)
  • QANTM Intellectual Property Limited – advised on its listing on the ASX and the complex restructure of the two firms acquired by the company – Davies Collison Cave and Freehills Patent Attorneys
  • Worked on many landmark transactions in the gambling industry, including the licensing of Crown's Melbourne casino; the sale of the South Australian TAB; the sale of Sportsbet.com.au to Paddy Power; the establishment of the CrownBet joint venture, which involved Crown Resorts Limited and former shareholders of Sportsbet.com.au; and the grant of Tabcorp’s Victorian wagering licence
  • Worked on a variety of restructures and commercial transactions in the education sector, particularly schools, including the restructures involving the establishment of new corporate entities and transfers of schools to the relevant entity for the Dioceses of Sale and Ballarat, the Archdiocese of Melbourne and Edmund Rice Education Australia.
