My experience encompasses handling leasing arrangements for many of Australia’s leading landlords and tenants (including volume leasing work on national property portfolios and major one-off leases); capital transactions (including acquisitions, disposals, leasebacks, due diligence and volume conveyancing); property development; asset management strategies; and retirement living.

Career highlights

• Lendlease – acted as lead partner on Victorian communities projects (including Atherstone, Aurora and Harpley) and the retirement living portfolio in Victoria and South Australia, comprising more than 30 retirement villages
• Coles Supermarkets Australia Pty Ltd – advised on its strategic alliance with Shell and coordinated the roll-out and review of leases and licences for Shell service stations throughout Australia
• As lead partner, oversaw a substantial number of retail and commercial portfolios for clients (including Brookfield, Charter Hall, Children’s Health Partnership, Dexus, Frasers Property Group Australia, GLG Developments, Lendlease, QIC, Quintessential Equity, RetPro and Vicinity Centres), handling precedent development, ongoing leasing and asset management strategies for properties across Australia
• Worked as lead partner on industrial and warehouse leasing for clients such as Gibb Group, Goodman, Moorabbin Airport Corporation and Quintessential Equity
• Acted on the acquisition and disposal of numerous shopping centres, industrial estates, hotels, commercial buildings and residential properties for AMP, Australian Unity, Brookfield, Charter Hall, the City of Greater Geelong, Colonial First State Global Asset Management, Cromwell Property Group, Frasers Property Group Australia, Goodman, MAP Capital and Quintessential Equity

  Served on the Property Council of Australia’s Victorian Retirement Living committee
