Maria offers a unique perspective on professional indemnity, having worked for seven years as the head of the claims and litigation department of one of the United Kingdom's largest professional indemnity underwriting agencies where she handled claims for a number of Lloyd's syndicates and UK insurers and developed an excellent understanding of Underwriters' approach to reserving and claims handling.
