Mark Carkeet
Legal Consultant, Brisbane
Having advised almost exclusively on matters involving utilities since 1992, I have developed a reputation as a “leading technical lawyer in the electricity space” (Chambers Asia-Pacific). This experience includes working on projects in each state and territory of Australia, as well as across the Asia Pacific region.

I have advised leading public and private sector clients – including Rio Tinto, Energy Queensland, the Queensland Government and Stanwell Corporation – on significant and transformational power projects.

I take pride in providing my clients with astute and strategic advice, drawing on my deep understanding of the rules, regulations and realities that govern their sector.
