The liift platform is a hosted system and provides tailored legal transaction management solutions for our clients, regardless of location or existing IT infrastructure.
What is liift?
Liift is an award-winning workflow system that cost-effectively supports our lawyers in the efficient and proactive management of transactions. Solutions are provided to support a range of legal applications, from medical negligence claims and property settlements, to dispute management and franchising renewals.
The technical platform won the Australian Legal Practice Management Association's National Innovation Award in 2004 for solutions development utilising case management systems.
Since 2003, liift has been successfully implemented in Australia and the UK. In South Australia, the liift system is used to:
- handle the SA WorkCover Corporation's disputed claims
- manage workflows for the SA Department of Health’s medical negligence claims management scheme, and
- manage property transactions for the South Australian Housing Trust and other property developments.
What are the features?
The liift platform features simple navigation that typically includes:
- a dashboard view of events – this is a dynamic reporting tool that uses Adobe Flash to display up-to-date information and trends
- easy-to-use instruction forms for information logging – information can also be logged by phone, fax or email
- dynamic maps – easy to view reports that display key information by location
- a file summary – a way to monitor key matter and case workflow records
- task lists – these provide a summary of all actions needed at any point in time
- a range of reports – providing defined users with the ability to review and share key case and other management data on each event and transaction, and
- a risk matrix – these capture incidents and their ratings on corporate risk registers, providing a snapshot of key risk points and unidentified hazards.
