A Vacation Clerkship provides you with an opportunity to work (and be paid!) in a leading commercial law firm during your University holidays with a number of other law students who are also undertaking the program. We understand that making a decision about your career, who you work for and in what area of law is a huge commitment. Clerkships are a great way to create enduring relationships with many key stakeholders in the legal industry and can often lead to a position as a Graduate lawyer with our firm. Our clerkships have been an important first step in many successful legal careers.

At Minter Ellison, we offer Vacation Clerkships in all of our Australian offices (traineeships are not offered in our international offices).

You will be exposed to a variety of learning and development opportunities, hands-on practical legal experience, mentoring from experienced lawyers and partners, attendance at our Continuing Legal Education programs and Practical Legal Training programs.
