Biography
Samantha joined the partnership in 2008 and continues to apply her expertise in employment and industrial relations law to the benefit of our clients.
With over nine years' experience in our HR&IR practice, Samantha advises clients on all aspects of employment and industrial relations including on employment contracts and policies, workplace agreements (including bargaining processes), termination and discrimination matters, employment issues arising out of corporate transactions and strategic industrial relations issues. She has achieved successful mediated outcomes representing clients in unfair dismissal, discrimination and sexual harassment complaints and is an experienced litigator in employment matters.
Samantha has a recognised expertise in occupational health and safety law and advises on OH&S compliance and risk management strategies. She regularly represents clients in OH&S investigations and prosecutions and has a proven track record in obtaining successful outcomes for her clients in this area. She is especially proud of her track record of achieving enforceable undertakings for her clients in OH&S matters – all applications she has made on behalf of her clients have been accepted.
Samantha's client base includes icon names in the energy and resources, aviation and construction sectors. She is regularly published in industry journals on occupational health and safety and human resources issues.
