Biography
David heads the Gold Coast’s Property Services practice group. He coordinates service delivery across a ten-member team of lawyers and paralegals that advise on all aspects of the property industry, including residential and commercial property development, project financing, structuring, titling arrangements, body corporate and community title issues, business sales and acquisitions, contract documentation and management rights transactions.
David is highly regarded for his expertise in property law. Working in a city dominated by strata title development, David has developed particular expertise in the area of body corporate law and ongoing management issues relating to strata title developments. He is often invited to conduct workshops for property and development bodies and he is a regular media commentator on the impacts of Queensland’s body corporate legislation on the property industry.
David is actively involved in the Property Council of Australia, currently serving as Deputy Chair of the Gold Coast Executive and Chair of the City and Communications sub-committee. He is a former President of the Gold Coast Law Association and Chair of the Council for the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE, and has acted for Sunland Group Ltd, BRB Group, GRM International, Villa World Ltd and CSR Emoleum.
