Biography
Gillian heads the Finance practice in Queensland. She has more than 17 years' experience as a specialist finance lawyer. Her clients include major and regional banks and government agencies.
Gillian has extensive corporate and project experience (acting for lenders and borrowers), particularly in construction financing and in financing resources projects. She also advises banks involved in major property and tourism developments.
She holds an honours degree in Law and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Gillian became Chair of Minter Ellison on 1 July 2006.
Gillian is also a member of the Capital Markets Board of Queensland Treasury Corporation.
