Biography
Ross is the Managing Partner of the Brisbane firm and leads our government practice and major projects group in Brisbane. He has a track record of achievement in large infrastructure projects, providing specialist and strategic advice regarding the interface of commercial and construction issues.
Ross is a trusted adviser to the Queensland Government on high profile projects, and acts for a number of government-owned utilities, providing strategic advice in key operational areas. His experience includes acting for the State in major projects (including the Queensland Children's Hospital, the Western Corridor Waste Water Treatment Project, the Tennyson Tennis Centre and the Gold Coast Convention & Entertainment Centre) as well as acting for major Government Owned Corporations and acting for major resource houses in the development of mining infrastructure and associated contracts.
Ross also acts for the both the public and private sectors in major international procurement contracts including generators, transformers and major mining equipment.
His professional activities include directorships with LinkWater Projects Pty Ltd and the Qld Bulk Water Transport Authority. Ross is also a proactive Member of the Construction Committees for both the Queensland Law Society and the Law Council of Australia.
