Biography
Paul specialises in advising on intellectual property commercialisation, information technology and contracting. He applies this expertise across a wide variety of industries including: health, government, resources, energy and agribusiness. Paul recognises that our clients seek options to manage their risks. He helps them identify and rate their risks in light of their business and operational objectives and he works with clients to find options that are practical to implement.
Paul is the leader of Minter Ellison's Health and Ageing Industry group and chairs Minter Ellison's Innovation Committee. He is a Board member of Minter Ellison Consulting Pty Limited and Safetrac Pty Limited. Paul was a member of the Joint Business Council of Australia and Australian Vice Chancellor's Committee's Reference Committee to consider impediments and issues for commercialisation of University intellectual property. He was recently recommended in the PLC Which Lawyers Year Book 2007, in the Life Science category for commercial and partnering expertise.
Paul is the author of IP Commercialisation: A Business Manager's Companion, the lead author of Optimising Collaborative Advantage and a contributing author to the CCH Sports Law Service (Marketing and Intellectual Property).
