Biography
Joanne has been a member of Minter Ellison's Asian Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure practice based in Hong Kong since March 2006.
The Hong Kong team specialises in non-contentious construction related work and predominantly advises one of the firm's biggest clients, Las Vegas Sands Inc, on the construction aspects of the Sands Macao expansion project and The Venetian Macao® – Resort – Hotel in Cotai, Macau (a major casino and resort development).
Joanne has developed a broad range of experience in advising on a variety of aspects relating to the Macau based projects. In particular, Joanne has drafted, advised and negotiated on various construction contracts as well as advised the client on project delivery strategies and project risk analysis.
For the past two years, Joanne has been dedicated to assisting Venetian Macao on the development of the Cotai strip, which represents the 'New Macau'.
