Biography
Allison is a partner in our Energy and Resources group and head of our climate change focus group.
She has extensive experience advising industry participants in gas and electricity industry on supply, transmission and hedging agreements as well as regulatory and access issues.
She also specialises in climate change projects and advises on greenhouse compliance issues, including the Commonwealth Mandatory Renewable Energy Target Scheme, the NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme and the Qld 13% Gas Scheme.
Allison has recently led a team reporting to the Australian Greenhouse Office on legal issues associated with geosequestration of carbon dioxide and is currently involved in two geosequestration pilot projects. She also has significant experience in renewable energy projects including land-fill gas, wind, hydro, waste mine gas and solar generation.
