Biography
Richard is the national head of the firm's Human Resources and Industrial Relations division. He has a strong reputation for providing excellent advice and has acted for employer interests in industrial relations for 20 years. He has substantial experience advising on employment issues generally, having worked for several years in the human resources areas of large manufacturing companies prior to commencing his legal career.
His clients include News Limited and its subsidiaries (including the Herald & Weekly Times), Fairfax Group, Coles Myer Ltd, Linfox Group, Zinifex, Visy Group, ANZ Bank and other major public and private organisations.
Richard is admitted to practice in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Queensland in Australia. He is also admitted to the High Court of Australia.
He frequently conducts seminars on various aspects of industrial and employment law.
Richard is recognised by Asia Pacific Legal 500 (2009) where he is again named as a leading individual for employment.
