Biography
Michael has been based in the firm's London office for a number of years, during which time that office has grown to be the largest of any Australian-based firm.
He has more than 25 years' experience and is particularly experienced in relation to cross-border mergers and acquisitions from Europe into Australia and from Australia into the United Kingdom, joint ventures and licencing and other business arrangements, private equity investment and divestment and acquisition finance, fund raising and securities offers and taxation.
As a long standing member of the Australian business community in the United Kingdom, Michael has both led and contributed to many Australian related business organisations and charitable bodies. His contribution was recognised in 2006 with an invitation to attend the 100 Leading Global Australians Summit in Sydney, being a gathering of those who have been recognised as leading contributors to Australia's interests abroad.
An honours graduate of the University of Melbourne, Michael is admitted to practice in four Australian jurisdictions and in England.
