Biography
Elizabeth is a specialist commercial legal adviser with particular knowledge and skill in all aspects of infrastructure including on property law, construction, engineering, development, planning, financial arrangements, and on tendering and contracting projects.
She has managed the legal aspects for sales, acquisitions, financing, leasing, development and construction programs for both Government and private sector clients with portfolios throughout the ACT and across Australia. She assists Government on competitive tendering and contracting generally, including for land development, construction and refurbishment projects.
Her private sector work is diverse and includes advising on commercial and retail leasing, serviced apartment arrangements, and commercial leasing for Mirvac.
She has also prepared construction consultancy documentation including for architects, engineers and project management roles.
Elizabeth's work has been recognised in the community and in 1998 Elizabeth was the recipient of the Ansett Private Sector Telstra Business Woman of the Year Award (ACT) and an ACT Electricity and Water Business Success Award.
Elizabeth is the Director of the ACTEW Corporation Ltd Board. She is a member of Minter Ellison's International Partnership Board, is the Chair of Partners for Minter Ellison Canberra Office and leads the Canberra Real Estate team.
Elizabeth was recognised by Best Lawyers International 2008, in Australia, in the Government lawyers category.
