Biography
Elizabeth leads the Canberra Infrastructure and Finance team. She is a specialist legal adviser in the areas of property, construction and engineering, development/planning, commercial and tendering and contracting. She has managed legal aspects of the sales, acquisitions, financing, leasing, development, construction and associated contracts for both Government and private sector clients with portfolios throughout Australia.
Elizabeth has advised Commonwealth and ACT Governments on competitive tendering across a large range of land development construction and major refurbishment tenders. Her private sector work has included advising on the tender for portfolio management outsourcing for the Commonwealth’s national and international property portfolio.
Elizabeth is our national client relationship partner for Centrelink, Defence Housing Australia and the Department of Human Services.
Elizabeth leads Minter Ellison's Government Industry Group, is a member of Minter Ellison's International Partnership Board and leads up the Canberra Property Practice Group. She has been recognised by Best Lawyers International in Australia in the Government lawyers category in both 2008 and 2009.
Elizabeth's work has been recognised in the community and in 1998 Elizabeth was the recipient of the Ansett Private Sector Telstra Business Woman of the Year Award (ACT) and an ACT Electricity and Water Business Success Award.
