MinterEllison advises Cromwell on $228 million entitlement offer

MinterEllison has advised ASX-listed Cromwell Property Group (Cromwell, ASX:CMW) on its 2 for 13 accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer.

Despite a demanding timeframe, the MinterEllison team worked very closely with Cromwell around the clock in order to complete the transaction before Christmas.

As at 30 June 2018, Cromwell had a market capitalisation of $2.2 billion, a direct property investment portfolio in Australia valued at $2.5 billion and total assets under management of $11.5 billion across Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

This offer is the latest in a series of strategic capital raisings which MinterEllison has acted on for Cromwell over the past 12 months. This included its $170 million strategic placement in December 2017, its $35 million security purchase plan in February 2018, and its €230 million convertible bond offering in March 2018.
