MinterEllison has advised Clanwilliam's HealthLink in its recent strategic acquisition of Telstra Health's secure healthcare messaging and e-referrals business - Argus, Connecting Care, and eReferrals. Clanwilliam is a global healthcare technology and services group headquartered in Ireland, with operations in three continents and customers in over 20 countries.

HealthLink is a leader in secure healthcare message delivery in Australia and New Zealand, operating for over 15 years, connecting more than 15,000 medical practices and businesses, and facilitating the exchange of over 100 million clinical messages and forms annually.

MinterEllison's M&A team, led by Siobhan Doherty, advised on the transaction and drew upon the firm's experts in competition and regulatory, FIRB, privacy, IT, transitional services, IP, and tax.

HealthLink forms part of the Clanwilliam ANZ division, which also includes leading healthcare technology products, Konnect NET (medical information request platform for insurers), Toniq (pharmacy software), and MBS (anaesthetic private practice software). HealthLink is investing substantially in its technology platforms, strategically aligning with national digital health strategies and the evolving digital health landscapes across Australia and New Zealand.
