I have deep experience across all aspects of financial services including banking, insurance and wealth management, as well as extensive experience with treasury, trading and commodity price risk management in the energy sector.

  • Supported an iconic financial services client to address regulatory conditions to successfully execute one of the largest and most complex carve outs in recent times. This involved developing a transformative operating model for the business, based on customer centricity and executive accountability, as well as uplifting the design and implementation of all aspects of the risk management framework.
  • Led a comprehensive review of operational risk, conduct and compliance for a major diversified financial services company facing intense regulatory challenges, and developed the operating model and implementation approach for an organisation wide risk management transformation.
  • Delivered end-to-end risk management reviews and response plans for numerous major banks, insurers and wealth managers.
  • Developed transformative business processes and implemented supporting systems to enable a step change in the ability of a major financial services company to comply with all regulatory obligations.
  • Developed analytical and AI-based solutions on major client remediation programs in the financial advice sector, in order to enable money to be paid back to impacted customers much faster, while significantly reducing the cost of running the remediation programs.
  • Developed and implemented a new suite of quantitative risk limits, operating model, and supporting technology applications for a major Australian fuels company undertaking a fundamental business model transformation.
  • Supported over 10 banks to obtain an Australian banking licence, which involved developing the policies and business processes to address the comprehensive suite of regulatory requirements that were required.
