I have considerable trial and appellate litigation experience across all areas of IP. I have appeared for both patentees and revokers in the Federal Court, Full Federal Court and the Australian Patent Office and have experience in urgent interlocutory disputes, preliminary discovery applications, damages claims, confidential information and inventorship disputes. I also have significant front-end experience drafting and negotiating commercialisation agreements, IP licences and confidentiality agreements.
In addition to my legal qualifications, I have a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Pharmacology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and a Masters in Intellectual Property Law.
I am a member of the Trans-National Committee of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia & New Zealand (IPSANZ) and a member of AIPPI. I have been recognised in the 2025-2027 editions of 'Best Lawyers in Australia' for Intellectual Property Law and named as a Rising Star in Managing Intellectual Property's IP Stars.

- Successfully acted for Sandoz in resisting an interlocutory injunction application made by Regeneron and Bayer, seeking to restrain the launch of the first biosimilar of aflibercept, a drug used in the treatment of serious eye conditions.
- Acted for Dyno Nobel in an appeal to the Full Court of the Federal Court of Australia in relation to four granted Orica patents concerning wireless detonator products and systems.
- Acting for Lush Australasia Retail Pty Ltd (LUSH Cosmetics) in trade mark litigation in the Federal Court of Australia.
- Acted in interlocutory injunction applications, preliminary discovery applications and substantive patent infringement and invalidity litigation across a range of industries and sectors.
- Acted for Kreglinger Wine Estates and Pipers Brook Vineyard in defending misleading and deceptive conduct claims made by Vieux Château Certan, successfully creating a pathway for Pipers Brook to supply its New Certan pinot noir wine in relabelled form.
- Acted for Ono Pharmaceutical and Bristol-Myers Squibb in patent litigation regarding breakthrough 'PD-1' antibodies that are of significant use in cancer treatment, and in associated extension of term proceedings relating to the blockbuster PD-1 immunotherapy Opdivo.
- Acted for B Braun in its defence of patent infringement allegations concerning a wound debridement pad.
- Regularly advise pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical clients on the enforcement of their patent portfolios in Australia, and in relation to launch strategies for biologics and biosimilar products, small molecules and medical devices.
- Acting in a number of trade mark and consumer law disputes, and advising global and domestic brands in relation to trade mark protection and brand strategies, both offensively and defensively.
