I am a specialised intellectual property lawyer with nearly two decades of experience in managing complex disputes, particularly high-stakes patent and trade mark litigation. I have deep life sciences sector knowledge as a result of acting in numerous high profile matters for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device clients, as well as strong experience in mining and consumer goods. I have also acted in numerous advisory and contentious trade mark and consumer law disputes.

I have considerable trial and appellate litigation experience across all areas of IP.  I have appeared for both patentees and revokers in the Federal Court, Full Federal Court and the Australian Patent Office and have experience in urgent interlocutory disputes, preliminary discovery applications, damages claims, confidential information and inventorship disputes. I also have significant front-end experience drafting and negotiating commercialisation agreements, IP licences and confidentiality agreements.  

In addition to my legal qualifications, I have a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Pharmacology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and a Masters in Intellectual Property Law.
