The transactions involved four landmark Sydney hospitality venues: The Regent Hotel in Kingsford, The Sackville Hotel in Rozelle, The Clock Hotel and The Bank Hotel in Newtown.

The disposals included the initial sale of The Regent to Thomas Hotels, followed by a JLL led campaign culminating in the sale of the Sackville Hotel to Merivale group and the sale of The and The Bank to fund manager Charter Hall and private equity owned Australian Venue Co.

Collectively, the transactions represent more than A$180 million in hospitality assets and the divestment of a significant portion of Amalgamated Hotels' long held Sydney pub portfolio. The transactions highlight continued investor demand for premium hospitality venues and some of the sector's most recognisable assets.
