MinterEllison has appointed Ashish Das as a new partner in its technology consulting business.

Mr Das, who is Sydney-based, brings proven experience in delivering digitally enabled business transformation programs as well as advising clients on regulatory compliance and cybersecurity risks.

"Ashish has a great understanding of prominent technology trends and their relevance to business strategy and growth," said Partner and Technology Consulting Leader, Stephen Craike. "He brings with him over 17 years' experience in strategic roles for technology consulting firms, as well as knowledge and leadership from various senior positions within the Big 4 consulting firms."

Mr Das has worked across the energy and utilities, banking, government, and education sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom.

"Since acquiring ITNewcom in 2017, we have continued to invest significantly in our technology consulting services. The market has responded positively to this move as the demand for combined ICT legal and consulting solutions grows from clients who comprise some of the largest enterprises and government departments in the Asia Pacific," said Managing Partner, Consulting Solutions, Andrew Cunningham.

"Ashish is a specialist technology and business strategy consultant and will work with our clients to drive both efficiency and technology enablement across their organisations."

"I am excited to join MinterEllison, a firm that has made a bold move among its peers. There's enormous potential to offer clients a unique and valuable proposition by providing innovative, integrated capabilities to help navigate increasingly complex technology, regulatory and legal challenges", said Mr Das.

The firm's national technology consultancy team now includes six partners.

MinterEllison's combined technology consulting and legal offering provides clients with integrated, end-to-end technology solutions that facilitate transformation, efficiency and growth.

ITNewcom has a twenty-year track record providing strategic advice and risk assurance consulting services to clients to ensure they are achieving optimum value from their technology investments. As of 1 July 2017, ITNewcom became part of MinterEllison, one of Asia Pacific’s leading Law and Professional Advisory firms.
