Chris specialises in insurance and health law, with particular emphasis on medical malpractice, professional indemnity (health fields) and aviation liability. He presently manages the Claims Management Program provided by Minter Ellison for the South Australian Department of Health (SA Health). This role involves strategic and financial management of the claims portfolio for the public health sector in South Australia.
Chris has extensive experience in medical malpractice claims, medical disciplinary matters, claims management systems and strategy, clinical risk management, aviation liability claims and coronial inquests. He has practised extensively in the medical malpractice area in both Australia and England, and regularly presents to the health sector on these topics.
Chris is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Law Society of South Australia. He is also a member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. He moved to Adelaide from our Perth office in July 2004.
