Taking meaningful action to advance reconciliation

Reconciliation Action Plan

Reconciliation Australia describes reconciliation as 'strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.'

MinterEllison has a long history of working with First Nations organisations and businesses: these groups are our clients, suppliers and community partners. Their work intersects with ours in many aspects of corporate life.

Launching our second Reconciliation Action Plan

We’re delighted to share our second Reconciliation Action Plan, a Stretch RAP endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.

Over the last three years we have significantly increased the support we provide to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and organisations through our pro bono and Community Investment program. We have built stronger relationships with community organisations and provided sponsorships to enable universities across Australia to establish pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students into careers in law and other professions.

These commitments to reconciliation are contained in our RAP.

We thank our First Nations friends, advisors and clients who have generously informed and guided MinterEllison’s reconciliation journey.
