In addition to the 19.9% sale of Tasplan shares, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) sold its 50.1% stake in the airport. Tasplan has retained a 30% shareholding in TGHC.

The deal value for the combined sale of a 70% stake in Hobart International Airport by way of a sale of shares in TGHC was approximately A$600 million.

Following a competitive tender process, the 70% stake was acquired by a consortium of Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) and Dutch-based airport operator, Royal Schiphol Group (Schiphol).
